Website Privacy Policy
Below is a description of the BACC’s website privacy policy. By accessing
this site, you are consenting to BACC’s information gathering and use
practices as in effect from time to time. If you have any questions or
concerns about this privacy policy as it applies to the BACC website,

Information Collection and Use
The BACC is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We
will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different
from what is disclosed in this statement. The BACC collects information
from our users at several different points on our website and may use this
information for internal marketing and analysis, membership processing,
legal requirements - responding to legal demands for information,
enforcing the BACC’s use policies and for collection of amounts owed to
BACC, and as appropriate in situations the BACC reasonably considers to be
emergencies involving personal safety.
Cookies
Our website does not currently use "cookie" technology. "Cookies" are
strings of text that a website stores on a user's computer. Cookies enable
a website to keep track of a user's preferences and activities relating to
that website.
Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's
movement and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP
addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Sharing
We may share aggregated demographic information with our partners and
members. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify
any individual person.
Links
This website contains links to other sites. Please be aware that the BACC
is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We
encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the
privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally
identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to
information collected by this website.
Minors
This website is not intended to collect information about minors. Persons
under age 18 should use this site only with the supervision of a parent or
guardian.
Security
This website takes commercially reasonable precautions to protect our
users' information. When users submit personal information via the
website, your information is protected both online and off-line. All of
our users' information is restricted in our office. Only employees who
need the information to perform a specific job (for example, a customer
service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable
information. All employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy
practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our
employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on
privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers' information is
protected. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable
information on are kept in a secure environment.
Anti-SPAM & Abuse Policy
The BACC will not tolerate spamming and has a zero tolerance policy
regarding the transmission of "spam" e-mail. The use of information from
this site and its digitally published materials (Membership Directories
and/or e-Book directories) to send unsolicited chain letters or any other
junk e-mail (SPAM) is a violation of the BACC's terms and conditions and
is prohibited. Any member who is in violation of this provision will be
removed from the directory and his/her membership will be canceled. If you
receive SPAM from BACC' members please report it to BACC. Also, you may
report SPAM to the spammer's hosting provider using SpamCop
www.spamcop.net.
Misrepresentation
We do not accept any liability whatsoever for misuse of titles or
professional credentials (Realtor, M.D.D. , M.D., Dr., Engineer, Broker,
MBA, MA, etc.) by the advertiser or any materials supplied by advertiser,
including the use of trademarks, slogans, or claims made by the
advertiser.
Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we may post those changes on
our Homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect,
how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at
any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner
different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify
users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we
use their information in this different manner. We will use information in
accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was
collected.
